Focusing on Problems

I am a culprit of this one. When you find you are stuck in a rut and just can't get writing, you focus on the things that are going wrong and not on why. This leads to a constant battle between trying to overcome problems with no thought out solutions - almost like throwing mud at a wall and seeing what sticks. You need to focus on what you are trying to achieve, why you aren't getting there - learn to externalise these problems - they aren't necessarily down to you, once you can look beyond yourself, you are taking the first step towards focusing on the real problems and defining solutions.
