Writing a Script for Television, Film or Theatre - a Reader's Report
Correct formatting when submitting a script is vital. It is an important indicator of the self-discipline and ability of the writer. Our experienced script readers will have a look at your scripts for tv, film or theatre and will assess their format and content.
Each report will cover:
- the story/plot (including core idea)
- structure of the script
- characters & dialogue
- artistic quality (themes & subtext)
The script reader will also look at the commercial potential of your script, including:
- genre
- budget
- audience
- potential of finding money in this country
The script editor will summarise the report with general points that will cover the above in summary and make practical suggestions as to how to move forward together with any other writing suggestions and current topical issues within the industry which are known to them.
This editorial service is ideal for people about to submit their work and working on their final ideas for scripts, or for people who are in the ideas stage and are unsure about format etc.

What We Do Not Offer
We do not submit your script to literary agents or film/tv/theatre companies. Other companies may offer this type of service, however you should be particularly wary of paying for it. If you do submit an exceptional script with a unique angle we may use our contacts to put your work in front of the right people, however this is a very very rare occurence and not part of our service. |
