Writing a Script for Television, Film or Theatre - a Reader's Report

Correct formatting when submitting a script is vital. It is an important indicator of the self-discipline and ability of the writer. Our experienced script readers will have a look at your scripts for tv, film or theatre and will assess their format and content.

Because of the nature of children's manuscripts the number of words are usually quite small, so we have a standard minimum fee for up to 1000 words.

* Annotated Script: this is the original copy of the author's script on to which the editor or proof reader has written their suggestions for improvements or in the case of proofreading, corrected various points of spelling and punctuation.

There is no obligation to continue the process, if you are still writing your script then simply hang onto the email and when you are ready to have it assessed you can click the link in the email and submit your script to us electronically.

Reports usually take 3-4 weeks, however we do offer a premium service which takes 4 working days for an additional 50% of the initial quote, please contact us for more details.

What We Do Not Offer

We do not submit your script to literary agents or film/tv/theatre companies. Other companies may offer this type of service, however you should be particularly wary of paying for it. If you do submit an exceptional script with a unique angle we may use our contacts to put your work in front of the right people, however this is a very very rare occurence and not part of our service.
